Season review 2017 – 150 Fans meet Raffaele Marciello
On October 17 Raffaele Marciello welcomed 150 car enthusiasts at Giubiasco’s Mercedes-AMG Winteler dealership, where they could admire up close the Mercedes AMG GT3 no. 90, his partner in a successful Gran Turismo debut season. But the Winteler family had more surprises planned for its valued guests: over the course of the evening it was possible to take some of the most performing AMG series cars for a spin, including the new Coupè AMG GT, the E63AMG, the C63s AMG Coupè, and the GLA 45AMG: big engines, big emotions and smiley faces all around.
The event was organised by EMME, a company from Bioggio, who made sure every last detail was taken care of, and put up a giant screen where the guests count admire a recap video of Raffaele’s Blancpain GT Series season.
The truth, however, is that Marciello’s racing year is far from finished, and the next weeks will be particularly busy: over the next weekend he will be in Zhuhai, China, to race for Mercedes-AMG in the first stage of the Asian Le Mans Series, and on November 16-19 he will take part in the most exciting and craziest race of the year: the FIA GT World Cup in Macao. In the narrow roads of the Asian street circuit, where Marciello has already obtained a pole position and fought for the victory, the Ticino driver will represent the Affalterbach brand together with three other colleagues.

Sì è tenuta lo scorso Martedì 17 Ottobre presso la concessionaria Mercedes-AMG Winteler di Giubiasco la festa di fine anno di Raffaele Marciello. La serata, iniziata alle 19:30, ha visto ben centocinquanta invitati che hanno potuto ammirare da vicino la Mercedes AMG GT3 numero 90 utilizzata durante questa stagione dal forte pilota Ticinese. Nel corso della serata, grazie alla gentile concessione della famiglia Winteler, gli ospiti hanno anche avuto la possibilità di provare alcune tra le auto più performanti della gamma AMG tra cui la nuova Coupè AMG GT, la Classe E63AMG, la classe C63s AMG Coupè e la GLA 45AMG; il sorriso degli invitati al ritorno dai loro test drive testimoniava in pieno le emozioni e la soddisfazione provata alla guida dei bolidi di Affalterbach. L’organizzazione della serata è stata perfettamente gestita dalla società EMME di Bioggio che ha curato in ogni dettaglio la location ed ha messo a disposizione un grande video schermo dove si è potuto ammirare un interessante video riassuntivo della stagione appena conclusa da Raffaele nel Blancpain GT Series. Non si tratta in realtà di una totale chiusura dei programmi di Marciello perché gli impegni di Raffaele saranno molto serrati nelle prossime settimane: il prossimo week-end correrà a Zhuhai, in Cina, in occasione della prima tappa dell’Asian Le Mans Series su richiesta di Mercedes-AMG e dal 16 al 19 Novembre sarà impegnato nell’appuntamento più importante dell’anno: il FIA GT World Cup di Macau. In questa occasione, sulle strette strade del circuito cittadino Asiatico dove Raffaele ha già corso con la Formula 3 conquistando la pole position e lottando per la vittoria, Marciello rappresenterà il marchio di Affalterbach assieme ad altri tre piloti, tentando il tutto per tutto in una di quelle che sarà la gara più entusiasmante e “pazza” dell’anno. Raffaele Marciello coglie l’occasione dunque di ringraziare uno ad uno tutti i suoi sponsor ed i suoi sostenitori che hanno reso possibile questa stagione ricca di soddisfazioni, puntando sempre più in alto per un glorioso futuro.
